Things in Ms Shimming’s class must have been a little scary this Halloween. Just look at the stories they have created.
…if you dare!
Spooky Story by Ronald
In the woods millions upon millions of people had their arms cut off from their elbow.
They are all known as Thing 1, Thing 2…
The Things live on trees. You may see them on Halloween night! The wicked witch tries to capture them for her spells to make her human.
The Bloody Mary Story by Munya
I saw Bloody Mary ruining my kitchen and cooking with her blood
I smelled iron
She tried to kill me by making me drink it but I refused to take it, she got angry
Big clanging noises she threw pots, pans and knives
Felt like I was in a dodgeball round
The Spooky House by Dylan
Once upon a time there was a spooky house. It was making weird witchy noises. The clouds were turning black and the witch flew into the gooey basement. The owner left the house without him knowing the witch was in the house. When the witch went upstairs it was all broken and the halls were gooey, slimy and disgusting. The moon turned orange like a pumpkin. There was a chair that kept walking by itself and all the witchy noises were from a girl playing the piano.
Matthew has made some amazing clay models this week.
He made them with Mr Smith. They then painted them – the tank in camouflage colours and the UFO in silver… (when they are dry we will post the painted versions another day on the website).
Here they are – now painted..
Now look what Matthew and Mr Smith have made – Fantatsic!
Hi everyone! Ivy here! Today, everyone here gathered together to meet, drumroll please! Marty the robot!
Marty is a companion to encourage all ages to code and program robots to create a brighter future for all. Now, we entered a contest about him, named marty’s coding dance competition!
We’re through to the next round and we’re excited to start programming him and we have received him today, we’re very lucky to have got him for free as he costs about £150.50! We have practiced coding a language called scratch and have been using an app called ” scratch jr “
We wish all schools entering great luck! Have fun! bye!
“Goodbye from Marty!”
Hey! Marty! Get back in your box! Go to bed!

It’s time for the Juniors to start a new topic. This term we will be studying the Weather. We have collected together our ideas and made plans. We are going to make factual and pretend Weather report videos , compare Weather in Scotland and make cupcakes based on the Weather. We’re also going to draw weather, see how artists paint Weather, make a weather diary and more! We are going to have so much fun! See you soon!
