Members of the Zone, their Cake & Card were tweeted across the globe this week when long time friend of the school, Angus Hogg retired from his role as Chair of the CarnegieUK Trust.

CarnegieUK Trust have supported the Nurture Zone in many initiatives to raise attainment and achievement – not least with our state of the art kitchen, all of which have also impacted greatly on the rest of the school.

Pupils from the Nurture Zone baked a cake  and designed a card especially to celebrate Angus’s retirement and to say thanks for all his visits to and interest in the Zone.

It is not every pupil that can say  they made a card that has been held and read by such famous Scots.
